The Toronto Maple Leafs are hoping to get two huge stars back soon. It's all but 100% confirmed that forward Auston Matthews returns on Wednesday night against the San Jose Sharks. Matthews himself said he's ready to go Wednesday and just needs full medical clearance on Wednesday. The clock is ticking on William Nylander as well with the December 1st deadline just a couple of days away. Head coach Mike Babcock was at it again hinting that Nylander would be back when talking about Matthews. "Our guys all know he's going to be here. I expect Willy will be here too, I expect. So there's going to be other guys not playing too. But that's all part of being on a team and doing what you can to help." The clock keeps ticking...
