"We heard over the last couple of days that a Ottawa Senators player had been diagnosed with coronavirus. The team confirmed the report but would not identify the player. Now a report out of Russia is revealing that the Sens' player with coronavirus is former Toronto Maple Leafs' defenseman Nikita Zaitsev. It's possible that Zaitsev has returned to Russia as most players have gone home and someone has leaked the information. The information right now comes from reputable KHL report Igor Eronko.
