The Maple Leafs have made this a series, forcing a Game 7 back in Boston and it has led to some turmoil between Jim Montgomery and David Pastrnak.

After putting up 110 points in 82 games during the regular season, Pastrnak has found the well to be a little dry in the postseason. Pasta has produced just 4 points through 6 games for the Bruins, much to the chagrin of his coach, with Montgomery putting him on blast publicly following last night's Game 6 loss in Toronto.

"Pasta needs to step up. He needs to be the dominant player we're used to. He's doing it in flurries. He's not doing it as consistently as he did in the regular season. His linemates need to help him, too. We're not as good of an offensive team right now as we were in the regular season. Neither is Toronto."

The Bruins superstar has as many points in the series as Max Domi has for the Leafs. No disrespect to Domi, but he's not exactly in the same tier of players as Pastrnak is.

The Leafs have done an excellent job of shutting down Pastrnak, particularly over these last 2 games. Now, the Leafs have the Bruins reeling, heading back to Boston for a final and deciding Game 7 having planted some seeds of doubt, as Ryan Reaves had previously stated.

The job isn't done yet and now that Pastrnak has been called out by his coach, he'll have a chance to respond this weekend, which means that the Leafs will have to be a little more mindful of when #88 is out there on the ice for the black and gold.
