"It's been a big summer so far for the Toronto Maple Leafs organization. The team parted ways with both Lou Lamoriello and Mark Hunter and hired Kyle Dubas as their new general manager. With the 2018 NHL Draft behind us, and the John Tavares meeting wrapped up, Dubas has made some front office changes. According to James Mirtle of The Athletic, the Leafs have let go of Jacques Lemaire, Jacques Caron, Nikolai Ladygin, Evgeny Namestnikov and Tommy Albelin. Mirtle adds that both Lemaire and Caron had close ties to Lamoriello so no surprise they're gone, while Ladygin, Namestnikov and Albelin were all part of the scouting department. This is likely just the begining of changes in the Leafs front office.
