"It's no secret, Mike Commodore and Mike Babcock don't like each other. It all goes back to the duo's time in Detroit and Babcock not playing Commodore. While Commodore isn't exactly the second coming of Bobby Orr, at the end of the day he was still good enough to make the NHL. Commodore has never been shy about how much he dislikes Babcock after he got the news of Babcock's firing, the former NHL defenseman took the opportunity to go to town on Babcock.
