The John Tavares sweepstakes continue to be unresolved, however insider Darren Dreger believes it's over. While nothing is official, Dreger stated on TSN around noon time that every indication is that the Leafs will sign John Tavares to a long term deal. It would explain why general manager Kyle Dubas was so willing to walk all their UFA's walk including center Tyler Bozak. Again Dreger didn't say it's official yet, but he mentioned that according to his well placed NHL sources that many agents have stopped negotiating with Toronto because it seems all the Leafs money will be focused on Tavares. More to come.
