Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Ty Voit continues to make light work of the ECHL as he registered his first professional goal for the Newfoundland Growlers last night.

Finally getting his first taste of professional hockey, the former 5th round pick from the 2021 NHL Entry Draft has racked up 7 points through his first 4 games in the ECHL. After having dealt with an injury in September, Voit was given an opportunity with the Growlers and he hasn't looked out of place.

Voit has been nothing short of a diamond in the rough for the Maple Leafs, who snagged him late in the 5th round. He scored 26 goals and 80 points in his draft+1 season for the Sarnia Sting before improving to the tune of 81 assists and 105 points in 67 games in 2022-23.

Voit should be on the Toronto Marlies' radar with how well he has translated his game to the professional circuit. Sitting in 5th place in the North Division with a 9-7-3-1 record, the Marlies sure could use his playmaking ability with Alex Steeves the lone standout on the team with 11 goals and 19 points in 15 games.
