In yesterday's afternoon game between the Philadelphia Flyers and the Boston Bruins, the Bruins' captain, Brad Marchand, acted like a five-year-old after not getting his way.

Late in the first period, Marchand attempted to get around Flyers defenseman Erik Johnson to chase after a loose puck. In the process, Johnson's leg clipped Marchand in the thigh. Marchand fell forwards, laying hunched on the ice for a moment before making his way to the Bruins' bench. While on the bench, Marchand proceeded to yell at officials while slamming his stick on the boards and slamming the door to the bench.

He ranted just long enough for the officials to assess him a 2-minute minor for unsportsmanlike conduct. For a guy that has built a reputation and career for being a rat and delivering cheap shots, it was a breath of fresh air for everyone but Boston fans to see him get called for running his mouth. It's just a shame that it was only two minutes and not a 10-minute misconduct.

Given the amount of pressure the Department of Player Safety came under at the GM meetings recently, it would not come as a surprise to see Marchand fined for his rant as well.
