An Edmonton Oilers reporter called Evander Kane out over the constant drama earlier this week. Kane fired back last night and Zach Hyman, who was seated next to Kane, loved every second of it.

Earlier this week, Mark Spector was on the Jason Gregor show discussing the Oilers and Evander Kane. On the show, Spector called out Kane for always being in the headlines.

"As has been the case all of Kane's career, too much drama."

Following the Oilers 6-1 thumping of the LA Kings in Game 3 last night, Zach Hyman and Kane were answering questions at the podium when Spector asked Kane what makes him play his best hockey this time of year.

"Just the drama of it all," responded Kane, as Hyman laughed next to him. "It brings the best out of me."

Kane had a goal, assist, and fifteen penalty minutes in last night's game to go along with four shots and three hits. It was by far his best game of the series and he capped it off by essentially having Spector tuck his tail between his legs and leave the post-game press conference having been put in his place.

Maybe next time, Spector will choose his words more carefully.
