For the Florida Panthers, Sunday's matchup against the division rival Tampa Bay Lightning was a very forgettable affair. That is, except for the 2nd period scrap between Sam Bennett and Mikhail Sergachev - though I'm sure that Sergachev wishes that he could forget it.

The Bolts took it to the Panthers on Sunday, skating away with an 8-4 win on the road, but they certainly did not skate away unscathed. After he landed a hit from behind on Panthers forward Claude Giroux, Sergachev found himself the target of a big hit behind the Tampa net from Bennett in the second. After a brief chat, the two decided to drop the mitts and square off.

Bennett certainly got the best of that exchange and Sergachev is certainly going to have a tough time getting out of bed in the morning after that one. Here's a look at the post-fight damage.

Still, you have to applaud Sergachev for answering the bell. Win or lose, it takes a pretty fearless individual to drop the gloves and square off with a guy like Bennett.
