Nick Foligno and John Gibson are not fans of each other. This was made clear during Monday night's game between the Boston Bruins and Anaheim Ducks.

This wasn't the first time tempers flared between the two, as evidenced by this dust up from 2017 when Foligno was with the Columbus Blue Jackets.

It's unclear what Foligno did to get under Gibson's skin this time, but it was enough for Gibson to decide Foligno deserved some extra attention during a commercial break.

Of course, whether you start it or not, if you get into it with a goalie, you're going to have to answer to someone. In Fologno's case, Sam Carrick was his dance partner tonight.

Carrick caught Foligno with a brutal first punch, knocking him down to one knee momentarily. Foligno managed to get up and try to fight back, but ended up leaving the game with an «upper body injury» (likely a concussion or possibly a jaw injury, but that's purely speculative) after serving his major penalty.
