The Toronto Maple Leafs are rolling along and looking like a dominant regular season team once again.
They come back to Toronto riding a 4 game win streak as they prepare to host the Colorado Avalanche tomorrow night.
During their California road trip, the Leafs received some criticism regarding their star players not able to score 5 on 5.
Leafs' star AustonMatthews put that narrative to rest as he scored even strength goals against all Cali teams.
After the game against Anaheim, Matthews was asked about the criticism and had a bit of a mic drop moment.
"I couldn't care less what you guys (media) say to be honest with you, no disrespect, I just try to play the same way every night and do the right things. Obviously I like to score and produce."
Matthews has 19 points in 20 games so far this season which includes 10 goals, 7 of those goals have been scored on the power play
