The Bruins were riding high with a 10-1-0 record before GM Don Sweeney signed Mitchell Miller, also known as the kid who bullied, harassed, beat up, made racist comments to and pulled disgusting pranks on a disabled youth. When they realized that fans, media and even their own players were outraged by the signing they quickly parted ways with Miller.

With the Miller ordeal now in the rearview, they're trying to movr forward and get some positive PR with the debut of their new Reverse Retro 2.0 uniforms featuring the "Pooh Bear" logo.

Brad Marchand, one of the players who spoke out publicly against the Miller signing, was asked prior to tonight's game what he thought of the RR 2.0 tarps. His response got more than a few laughs.

Oh they look unbelievable, I mean we got a lot of two's on our team and they're looking like tens tonight.

Being funny in an interview doesn't change what the organization did, nor does it make up for the harm done to the victim and the victim's family by putting their abuser back in the limelight. What it does do is show that the team is content with just moving on.

I have to admit, the white Pooh Bear jerseys are some good-looking jerseys, albeit a little comical. The jagged stripes are a great callback to the 1990s and really complete the retro look. Still, I'm not sure any jersey could make Marchand a ten, unless it of course came with a free nose job!
