After giving up 2 early goals, Auston Matthews decided he'd had enough and put the Leafs on the board with a laser of a wrist shot.
The Devils got one more and Jack's night was done. Matthews wasn't ready to let the game get away though, tipping in a Morgan Rielly shot to make it 3-2.
The Devils got one by Mrazek, but this time it was Jason Spezza's then to step up, rifling one home off a nice feed from Mikheyev to make it 4-3!
Nobody in the NHL is hotter than Mitch Marner right now and he stays hot, tying the game at 4 in the 3rd!
Hard work on the PK pays off for Kerfoot, who makes a fantastic play to set up a wide open Ilya Mikheyev for the game winner!
Matthews sealed it with a dart from, according to Joe, 172.5 feet. I didn't have a measuring tape handy so we'll take his word for it!
Leafs win 6-4! Didn't start out pretty, but they can't all be gems! Take the 2 points and move on!
