It's still relatively quiet on the P.K. Subban front, but with training camps set to open on September 21st, the 33-year-old is running out of time to sign a contract or a PTO in time for a full training camp.

In recent weeks, one Western Canadian team has come up as a potential landing spot for Subban, as the Vancouver Canucks were rumoured to be looking for some help on the right side. Well, according to Canucks correspondent Rick Dhaliwal, Vancouver has not actually shown any interest in Subban.

Dhaliwal originally made the announcement back on September 2nd when the Canucks were still in pursuit of Calvin de Haan, but with de Haan now having signed a PTO with the Carolina Hurricanes, who knows if that will change their plans?

Given the recent news that Quinn Hughes has requested to be moved over to the right side, perhaps that solves the problem for the Canucks, at least temporarily.
