Connor Bedard goes top cheese from one of the most ridiculous angles ever

Patrick Kane, Steven Stamkos, Nathan MacKinnon, Connor McDavid and Auston Matthews all have at least one thing in common, aside from being some of the best hockey players on the planet that is. They were all 1st overall draft picks.

16-year-old Connor Bedard is all but a lock to join this list. As crazy as it sounds, Bedard could end up being the best of all of them. Some of the goals this kid scores are absolutely ludicrous. Take this one from today's game between Canada and Finland at the U18 World Championships for example:

I have no words.. The way Bedard finds ways to score when it is seemingly impossible just shows how elite his vision, shot and accuracy truly are. This kid is going to be special.

Bedard does have some stiff competition in Russian forward Matvei Michkov, but in my mind, Bedard stands alone at #1 in 2023.
