When the Leafs lock horns with the Edmonton Oilers on March 1st, 2023, it's going to be a strange night for former Leafs netminder Jack Campbell, who will be looking up the ice at his former teammates and close friends coming down in attack mode rather than skating back helping to defend the plays in front of him.

The 30-year-old netminder signed a 5-year, $25M deal with the Edmonton Oilers this summer after being unable to come to terms with the Leafs on an extension, but that doesn't necessarily mean that fans were ready to see him move on.

Well, with the season just around the corner, Leafs fans finally got some closure on Monday, when the Oilers posted a video of Campbell before a skate in Edmonton donning his brand new Oilers mask.

I'll admit, it's going to be weird seeing Campbell at the other end of the ice, but he made his choice on July 13th. All we can do now is just sit back, relax and hope that the Leafs get the better of him in each of their meetings with the Oilers this season.
