It's a crime that this Leafs goaltender and fan favourite has yet to be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame

Since 1967, there have only been 13 goaltenders inducted to the Hockey Hall of Fame. In that time, there have been 15 Winter Olympics and 16 goalie goals in the NHL. There have been a number of Hall of Fame-worthy goalies since 1967, with Roberto Luongo the most recent to be inducted in November of last year.

Former Leaf and fan favourite Curtis Joseph has been passed over a number of times since he became eligible for the obvious reasons. He did not win a Stanley Cup or a Vezina Trophy during his career, which are two of the main reasons. He has one Olympic gold medal from 2002 where he played only one game. Joseph, however, did finish in the top-5 of Vezina Trophy voting five times and is the fourth most winningest goaltender of all-time with 454 wins.

The typical standard for goalies is Stanley Cups and Vezina Trophy wins, but with Roberto Luongo seemingly breaking that narrative in November and with Henrik Lundqvist essentially guaranteed to be inducted without a Cup, it could only be a matter of time now before CuJo is one of the next goalies to be inducted - and as well he should be.
