Jacob Trouba has consistently been the subject of debate over the last few seasons. Some say that he targets the head with his hits. Others argue that it just happens because he's tall. The only thing that's certain is that when Trouba is on the ice, opponents would be wise to have their heads on a swivel.

While Trouba's hits are a source of debate, approximately 31 of the NHL's 32 fanbases are in agreement that any time it's Corey Perry taking the hit, it's all good. Perry tried and failed to accept a pass out of the zone during the second period of game 6 between the Rangers and Lightning. Trouba stepped up at the line and absolutely obliterated Perry.

There was no call on the hit, which the Lightning were livid about. They do have a point, in that the puck travelled under Perry's stick but at no point did he have possession. Aside from that, there was nothing wrong with this hit. Trouba's shoulder missed Perry's head completely, only making contact with his shoulder.

Perry did leave the game shortly after the hit, but was quick to return, so likely just needed some form of an equipment adjustment or perhaps just a quick look over by the team's medical staff.
