Jason Spezza is widey recognized as one of the most friendly and gracious NHLers of all time. He has always fostered strong relationships with his fans, being generous with his time and often remembering people who he has only ever met in passing.

Spezza was with the Leafs in Belleville, Ontario on Friday for the Leafs' preseason matchup against his former Ottawa Senators. Prior to the game, Spezza was spotted chatting with a young fan on the way into the CAA Arena, but unfortunately for the youngster, the conversation didn't end the way he wanted it to, as Spezza inadvertently snubbed him on a fist bump.

Poor kid looked genuinely disappointed and embarrassed as the camera panned to Spezza walking inside with his back turned to the fan. Naturally, Spezza didn't see the young man gesturing for the fist bump, otherwise I'm positive he would have obliged. Nevertheless, the internet never forgets and I'm sure this young man's buddies will hold this one over his head for some time.
