Jordan Binnington has kept things pretty low-key since being called out by his head coach for the fiery in-game antics he's become known for. However, Binnington was in a sour mood during today's afternoon game between the St. Louis Blues and Colorado Avalanche. The Blues goaltender made a save on Kurtis MacDermid's initial slap shot and then gobbled up Logan O'Connor's rebound attempt with 4:47 remaining in the second period.

Binnington didn't take too kindly to O'Connor's rebound attempt, taking a bit of a love-tap, and after the referees blew the whistle, Binner skated towards the Avalanche forward who was already dealing with Alexei Toropchenko of the Blues in the corner. Binnington joined in on the fun as a scrum ensued with everyone else jumping in.

Alexandar Georgiev, who was all by himself in his own zone, was seen skating towards the blue-line, perhaps in an attempt to bait Binnington into a goalie fight, but referees quickly intervened and told him to skate back to his net. Officials escorted a disappointed Binnington to his bench but as he skated away he was giving it to the Avalanche faithful who were loudly jeering the antagonistic goaltender.

After everything was said and done, Logan O'Connor was assessed a roughing and slashing minor, Kurtis MacDermid, Alexey Toropchenko each received a roughing minor, and Nikita Alexandrov was given an unsportsmanlike conduct minor. The Avalanche were up 3-0 at that point and held on for a 4-2 victory.
