It's been largely quiet in Leafs Nation on the last day before the opening of free agency and Leafs news has been hard to come by of late. However, in less than 24 hours, that will all change as the Leafs are expected to be one of the busier teams in free agency.

Free agency isn't the only activity to look forward to for this coming week. The Leafs are also hosting a development camp for most of their picks, prospects and some lucky invitees. The team released the official development camp roster on Friday and there are some exciting names included on the list.

You'll notice that all 3 of the Leafs' draft picks this week are scheduled to attend development camp in Easton Cowan, Hudson Malinoski and Noah Chadwick. There are also a trio of notable names from last year's draft class in Brandon Lisowsky, Fraser Minten and Nick Moldenhauer. Other attendees will be goaltenders Artur Akhtyamov and Vyacheslav Peksa, as well as forwards Roni Hirvonen and Ryan Tverberg and defensemen Topi Niemela and Mike Koster, who was teammates with Matthew Knies at the University of Minnesota.

The list also includes 23 free agent invitees. Next week's camp will be run by the Leafs' Assistant General Manager, Player Development, Dr. Hayley Wickenheiser and her staff. The first official day of on-ice sessions will be Monday, July 3rd.
