While social media was abuzz last night after the Leafs signed both Tyler Bertuzzi and Max Domi, UFA centerman Dylan Gambrell mysteriously appeared on the Leafs' roster page on NHL.com. There was no announcement or even a single report from any of the insiders that the Leafs had signed the 26-year-old.

Gambrell has spent the past two seasons with the Leafs' Ontario rival Ottawa Senators, where he had played in a total of 123 games, registering just 17 points. He previously played 4 seasons in San Jose where he registered 23 points in 110 games.
Gambrell's previous contract was a 1-year deal that saw him earn $950K last season and, as of this morning, TSN's Chris Johnston is reporting that the Leafs have indeed inked the 6-foot, 185-pound center. The deal is believed to be for 1 year at $775K.
