It was a pretty emotional night for Borje Salming, Darryl Sittler, Mats Sundin, a number of Hall of Fame inductees and all of Leafs Nation on Friday as the team honoured Salming prior to the Leafs' game against the Pittsburgh Penguins. However, as emotional as the night was, it paled in comparison to Saturday night as the Leafs honoured Salming properly ahead of their game against the Vancouver Canucks.

There weren't many dry eyes in the house following the Leafs' tribute video for Salming, when the legendary defenseman was lead out to center ice to take part in the ceremonial puck drop.

The honouring of Salming did not stop there, as the Leafs elected to start an all-Swedish line for the opening faceoff, lining William Nylander up with Pierre Engvall and Calle Jarnkrok, Timothy Liljegren and Rasmus Sandin as the starting defense pairing and, of course, Swedish netminder Erik Kallgren, who started his second game in as many nights.

Pure class by the Leafs organization, all the way.
