Mitch Marner and Jack Campbell getting their summers started off right
I'm positive that there's nowhere the Leafs would rather be than the Eastern Conference Finals right now, but since that option is off the table, they're doing what they can to enjoy some much deserved time off this summer after a sensational season and a hard fought 7-game series against the defending champs.
In Jack Campbell's case, he and his lady kicked off the offseason by getting themselves a new puppy. They introduced baby "Huey" to the world back on March 26th on Instagram.
In Mitch Marner's case, his Instagram story showcased him on vacation with an old friend and an old fan favourite in Toronto. James Van Reimsdyk. Not sure exactly where they are, but the drinks look cold and the water looks warm!
There is still 4 months to go until Leafs hockey returns, but thankfully, we have the draft and free agent frenzy coming up next month to help pass some time and then after what should be a pretty quiet August, the chatter should pick back up in September when training camp opens up.
