Due to the recent spike in positive COVID-19 cases in the province of Ontario, the government has placed a strict limit on event attendance, reducing capacity for indoor events from 50% down to 1000. Note that the 50% will remain for areas where capacity is already less than 1000.

Ontario health officials announced a record number of COVID-19 cases in the province on Thursday, with numbers exceeding 13,800 cases. Most of these are likely the Omicron variant, which is said to be much more transmissible, but far less harsh in terms of symptoms.
There is some good news to announce as well, however, as there will be changes made to isolation rules, in line with those recommended by the CDC earlier this week. Per those guidelines, fully vaccinated individuals will now see the quarantine period reduced from 10 days to 5 in Ontario, so long as the individual is either asymptomatic or sees symptoms improving for at least 24 hours.
While the isolation period is reduced, public health officials still require that all preventive measures are followed, including wearing masks, washing hands and maintaining proper social distancing measures.
The Leafs are expected to play host to the division rival Ottawa Senators on Saturday evening.
