P.K. Subban attempts another slewfoot, which really pissed off Caps forward Garnet Hathaway
New Jersey Devils defender P.K. Subban was at it again on Sunday, attempting (unsuccessfully) another slewfoot, this time on Washington Capitals forward Garnet Hathaway.
The play occurred in the 3rd period after the Caps scored to cut the lead to 1 with just over 6 minutes left in the contest. Hathaway was not happy, delivering a few stiff shoves to Subban after the fact.
Subban has done this several times this season, but with no real recourse, as the NHL's Department of Player Safety has, by all appearances, given Subban a pass on these types of plays, despite suspending others for the same offense.
Subban has now gotten away with slewfoots on Hathaway, Milan Lucic and Ryan Reaves, among others.
