Things change fast in the world of hockey.
After trying to deal Travis Dermott and Justin Holl for weeks to try and get some forward depth, things have changed fast.
The Leafs are now dealing with injuries on the blue line and instead are looking for defensive help.
Dermott and Rasmus Sandin are sidelined and general manager Kyle Dubas has placed a forward on the trade block.
According to reports, the Leafs are currently shopping forward Pierre Engvall.
Engvall has 9 points in 27 games so far this season and carries a $1.25million cap hit this season before becoming a restricted free agent with arbitration during the offseason.
It'll be an interesting story line to follow.
