A move is not imminent, but as reported by Jeff Marek on the 32 Thoughts Segment of Hockey Night in Canada, the Arizona Coyotes have an offer on the table for defenseman Jakob Chychrun that involves a young player, a top prospect and a 1st round pick.

Marek had stated during the segment that both the young player and the top prospect are first round picks, so the offer on the table is essentially the equivalent of three 1st round picks for Chychrun, who carries a $4.6M cap hit for 4 more seasons.

While the team with the offer was not revealed by Marek, he did name a couple of other teams who are likely to remain in the bidding war in the Florida Panthers and the New York Rangers.

It is believed that the Rangers may have offered a package that includes former 1st round pick Vitali Kravtsov.
