The Leafs are back in action on Monday night, playing host to the ASU Coyotes. Oops - I mean the Arizona Coyotes. Honest mistake. At any rate, it appeared as though the Leafs might be heading into battle without one of their top players after William Nylander has missed the last two skates due to illness. Per head coach Sheldon Keefe, however, Nylander is currently slated to play.

Originally, it appeared as though Nick Robertson might get a look in the lineup immediately, but after some consideration, Keefe decided to roll back the same group to see how they might respond to some pressure that is on them now with more competition in the form of Robertson, Simmonds pressing for spots.

Given Sheldon Keefe's comments on Robertson having deserved a spot out of camp, it's pretty surprising to see him scratched. If I had to guess, I'd say that Robertson is probably in on Thursday one way or another.
