Last night during the first period of the Leafs 5-0 win against the LA Kings, Nick Robertson left the game after a collision with Matt Roy that sent him hard into the boards, leaving him labouring and favouring his right shoulder.

The poor kid just can't catch a break and is now expected to miss some time with a shoulder injury. Although the Leafs haven't given a proper timeline for how long Robertson will be out, there's speculation his injury could be much worse than it first seemed last night. Per Dr. Harjas Grewal, there is a possibility that Robertson's injury could require surgery, which would effectively end his season, with a 4+ month recovery time.

Robertson is set to undergo an MRI on his shoulder today, per Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe, so we likely won't have to wait too long to hear what the official diagnosis is and what the recovery timeline might look like.
