Tanner Jeannot drops the gloves with Ryan Reaves and more than holds his own

There aren't many guys in the NHL who can stand toe to toe with New York Rangers forward Ryan Reaves, but as we found out on Saturday, Nashville Predators forward Tanner Jeannot is one of them.

Reaves, 6'2, 225 lbs, is one of the most feared enforcers in the league. It's not every game where you see a willing combatant step up to the challenge.

Jeannot, 6'2, 208 lbs, may have give given up almost 20 lbs in the fight, but I'm sure he gained a lot of respect, not only from the Preds fanbase, but also from Reavo himself.

If Jeannot wants another crack at Reaves, he'll have to wait a few months, as the Preds and Rangers don't face off again until March 19th at Madison Square Garden.
