The NHL introduced advertising on its helmets before the beginning of the 2020-21 season. The controversial social media platform TikTok had the honors of being the first to get to advertise on the Toronto Maple Leafs' helmets. Now that the deal has come to an end, the Leafs have a new helmet sponsor for 2023-24.

To begin the 2022-23 season Toronto inked a multi-year agreement with the Dairy Farmers of Ontario to advertise its "Milk" insignia appearing on team sweaters

The Leafs announced today that the club will wear sport Pizza Pizza decals on their helmets for home games in 2023-24.

Pizza Pizza is one of Canada's largest pizza franchises with 500 nation-wide locations. Pizza Pizza is well-represented in the GTA. A popular giveaway for Leaf fans at Scotiabank Arena is a free slice if Toronto gets a first-period goal. It's a partnership that makes a lot of success, given the pre-existing relationship between the two franchises.
