Two Toronto Maple Leafs will be heading to Vegas to play in the 2022 NHL All Star Game. Forward, Auston Matthews was named captain of the Atlantic Division team on Thursday and goaltender Jack Campbell was also selected amid a sensational 2021-22 campaign for the former 11th overall pick.

Matthews has been on an absolute tear this season. He's currently second in the league in goals this season with 24 and has amassed 38 points in 32 games so far this season.

Jack Campbell is set to make his first All-Star Game appearance, which is well-deserved. Campbell has an 18-5-3 record with a .935 save percentage. He may be a late bloomer, but Soupy has had a stellar tenure with the Leafs and he has earned this all star selection. Let's hope we hear the Soup chants raining down from the stands at T-Mobile Arena on February 5th.

Leafs captain John Tavares is included in the "Last Man" vote for the All-Star Game as well, so if the Leafs aren't well-represented enough already, Leafs fans can ensure that the Buds send three to Vegas next month by voting!
