Just hours ago it was reported that Vegas Golden Knights goaltender Robin Lehner was done for the season due to an apparent knee injury suffered March 8th that would require surgery. That would've been a massive blow to the Knights' already slim playoff hopes, but just moments ago, Pete DeBoer stated that Lehner is not undergoing surgery and that today was a maintenance day.

Not only did DeBoer debunk the surgery rumours for Lehner but he expects him to be at practice tomorrow and dressed on Sunday.

It's been an up and down season for Lehner and the Golden Knights with most of their stars have spent time on LTIR. Even with all of the injuries Lehner has still posted a respectable .907 save percentage and 2.83GAA in 44 games. If this season shows the Knights anything though, it's that they desperately miss Fleury both in the net and on the bench.

The Golden Knights may yet have a shot at the postseason, but in order to get there, they're likely going to have to win their final four games.
