We have a genuine Willy Nylander sighting

While in past years, the Leafs have blown leads and lost to inferior opponents in the Montreal Canadiens and Columbus Blue Jackets, this time around it was the Tampa Bay Lightning who spoiled the parade plans for the Leafs, though the Leafs arguably did enough in the series to deserve the win.

Since the loss, we've seen various clips and photos of Leafs players enjoying their offseason activities. For Mitch Marner and Justin Holl, it was vacationing with former Leaf James Van Riemsdyk. For Auston Matthews, it was heading back to Arizona to spend time with family and friends. For Jack Campbell, there was a new addition to the family in the form of a new puppy (baby Huey) and an engagement to his long-time girlfriend.

We haven't heard from or seen much of William Nylander, aside from his visit to the World Hockey Championships in Helsinki, but for those who were wondering about Willy Styles, social media has come through for you, as the Nylander clan appears to have chartered a plane for a family vacation!

Now just a little over a week out from the draft and a little over 2 weeks out from free agency, we're about to see things pick up. But for now, we'll take solace in the fact that we know that our guys are doing their best to turn the page, forget about last season, blow off some steam, and very shortly, they'll begin preparing for an all-important 2022-23 season.
