"We saw a glimmer of hope on Thursday morning when Jake Gardiner finally joined his teammates for practice. Even though Gardiner was wearing a no contact jersey, it was still a great sight considering that Gardiner hasn't played since February 25th. After practice head coach Mike Babcock gave an update regarding his injured defensemen. Kristen Shilton Tweets:"Mike Babcock said the plan is to get Travis Dermott back in on Saturday in Ottawa. Said the timeline on Jake Gardiner is more murky, but Gardiner said he's feeling good and ideally you want to get him back in before the end of the regular season."Here's what the defense looked like at practice on Thursday.
