For fans it was a great night, the Toronto Maple Leafs beat the Buffalo Sabres during their first preseason action at the Scotia Bank Arena. The Leafs put up five goals including three in the first period, John Tavares scored in his Scotia Bank Arena debut and added a second goal later on, even Ron Hainsey scored. Fighting for the backup job, Curtis McElhinney stopped all 20 shots he faced, lots of pluses, but head coach Mike Babcock wasn't happy. "We ended up winning the game, but that was the lowest level we've played at this year. Turning the puck over like crazy, not playing as good or as hard as we should have." Babcock went on to say that kind of play is unacceptable at home and the team needs more structure and work ethic in front of the hometown crowd. What do you think of Babcock's comments?
