The Toronto Maple Leafs will have one of their first real tests of the preseason tonight as they ice an almost full NHL roster against an almost full Montreal Canadiens NHL roster. Toronto is just missing Zach Hyman, Travis Dermott and William Nylander while Montreal will be without Max Domi, Charles Hudon and Michael Peca. It's a good test for the Leafs, especially considering the fact that head coach Mike Babcock believes his team is far from ready to start the season. «Not close,» Babcock said. «The season starts Oct. 3. We have lots of work to do.» After facing teams with preseason rosters, Babcock is happy to finally play a team which has almost their full expected roster. «We'll get to see real players play against real players,» said Babcock. It's going to be a great game to watch tonight as we get closer to the October 3rd season opener.
