"Toronto Maple Leafs' prospect Nick Robertson suffered a brutal injury on the weekend and now the details are in. We saw him bend his leg extremely awkwardly and many believed it would be a torn MCL or ACL however it's a break. The Leafs announced that Robertson suffered a non-displaced fracture of his right fibula. The 20 year old won't require surgery but is out a minimum of 10 weeks and likely longer. It's hard to see, but it's easy to lean towards the idea that this will hinder his development and push it back. Robertson also suffered a knee injury last year and only played 21 AHL games and once again will be starting from scratch.
