"The Toronto Maple Leafs and general manager Kyle Dubas announced an injury update on Wednesday morning. Just a couple of days after head coach Sheldon Keefe said forward Andreas Johnsson would require surgery, the procedure has been performed. Dubas announced that Johnsson underwent successful knee surgery this morning and will be sidelined for the next six months. With Johnsson sidelined, trade chatter continues to build regarding Kasperi Kapanen.
