"The Toronto Maple Leafs lost a tough game on Sunday night against the Buffalo Sabres by the score of 5-2. The Leafs continue to put themselves in a tough position when it comes to the playoff race as they can't seem to put together a winning streak. Toronto is 3-4-1 in their last eight games and hold a four point lead on the Florida Panthers for third place in the Atlantic Divison but Florida has two games in hand. Head coach Sheldon Keefe believes Sunday's loss was one of the most brutal games he's seen the team play all season. "This is the worst we've been in a really long time. We haven't really put our game together for quite some time, but this was different today where for most of the game it didn't feel like we were in the building at all."
It doesn't get any easier for Toronto as they play the Penguins tomorrow in Pittsburgh then host them on Thursday night at ScotiaBank Arena.
