"The Toronto Maple Leafs have been given some tough injury blows lately and one of them was just made official. General manager Kyle Dubas made a roster move today as he placed forward Nick Robertson on injured reserve. Dubas and head coach Sheldon Keefe had planned to make the 19 year old forward fight for a roster spot and he only played one game unfortunately and was injured. He was forced to leave the game against the Ottawa Senators after a collision near the boards and Keefe had told us earlier this week that he would be out likely a minimum of four weeks. There's yet to be any test results on Joe Thornton who left last night's game against Edmonton and is also expected to miss time.
