"The Toronto Maple Leafs and general manager Kyle Dubas announced a roster move on Thursday. Dubas and the Leafs have placed goalie Michael Hutchinson on waivers. It's no surprise as Jack Campbell has clearly taken over the backup position job, a job that Hutchinson simply couldn't do. We're sure that Dubas tried to find a trade partner, however it's highly unlikely that anybody was willing to give something. Hutchinson has registered a 4-9-1 record along with a 3.66 goals against average and .886 save percentage this season.
