"The Toronto Maple Leafs were back on the ice today for practice as they prepare to faceoff against the Ottawa Senators on Saturday. Defenseman Travis Dermott is dealing with some sort of virus and his status is in question for tomorrow's game. General manager Kyle Dubas announced earlier today that the team had called up defenseman Kevin Gravel. Well that call up didn't last long as just a couple of hours after practicing with the team, Dubas announced that the team has sent him back to the Marlies. What makes it even more peculiar is that Gravel was an extra during line rushes and didn't even play on a paring as Martin Marincin stepped up on the second pairing beside Tyson Barrie.
