"The Toronto Maple Leafs are trying to figure out their backup goalie situation and it's gotten more interesting today. Earlier this morning the Leafs called up Kasimir Kaskisuo after waiving him yesterday. A couple of minutes after that move, the team and general manager Kyle Dubas announced that they've released Michal Neuvirth from his PTO. The Leafs were hoping that Neuvirth could shake his injury history and earn the backup spot, however Neuvirth has been sidelined as per usual.
