Maple Leafs star Mitch Marner shows some concern following the latest announcement regarding Team Canada captain Sidney Crosby.

As the Toronto Maple Leafs prepare to face the Seattle Kraken tonight, superstar Mitch Marner returns to the lineup after missing the last game due to injury.
This is positive news for Marner, especially with the 4 Nations Face-Off approaching, as he is healthy enough to play.
However, one player on Team Canada is at risk of missing the tournament: captain Sidney Crosby.
Marner recently shared his thoughts on the potential of Crosby sitting out, expressing disappointment and concern. According to Luke Fox on X, Marner said:
"That would suck. Suck a lot. So, really hoping he's OK. He's obviously a big part of Canada every time they've been a part of something like this. So, he's kinda the staple, the head of everything."
Crosby, a key figure in Canadian hockey history, is known for many accomplishments, including scoring the Golden Goal against the USA in the 2010 Olympics to secure gold for Canada.
At 37 years old, Crosby continues to have a productive season, recording 58 points in 55 games. His absence would be a significant loss for Team Canada.
Marner, on the other hand, is having an outstanding year himself, with 70 points in 52 games, and is expected to be a key contributor for Team Canada.
The 4 Nations Face-Off is scheduled to begin on February 12th in Montreal and Boston. Team Canada remains hopeful that their perennial superstar and captain, Sidney Crosby, will be able to take part.
