With the Toronto Maple Leafs getting set to take on the Seattle Kraken on Thursday, another member of the blueline will be sidelined due to an injury.

As the Toronti Maple Leafs prepare to take on the Seattle Kraken tonight, there is word that the team will be down a regular defenseman.
Conor Timmins took an elbow from Yegor Sharangovich during the Leafs' 6-3 win over the Calgary Flames earlier this week, and needed help from teammates getting off the ice.
Timmins returned to the game to finish it out, but will sit against the Seattle Kraken, as per David Alter of The Hockey News.
"Although he returned, Berube said the defenseman has an upper-body injury and will not play against the Kraken."
At this time, head coach Craig Berube isn't saying whether he thinks sitting out one game will be enough to gets Timmins back to 100 percent, or close enough that he can get into the lineup.
After taking on the Kraken tonight, the Maple Leafs will be in Vancouver to face the Canucks on Saturday.
If Timmins misses that game, he'll have two weeks to heal up while the NHL breaks for the 2025 4 Nations Face-Off.
Berube couldn't say whether Anthony Stolarz, who hasn't played since Dec. 12th while out with a knee injury, would return to the crease against Seattle.
He said Stolarz is very close to ready, and he may have an update in advance of the game.
