"The Toronto Maple Leafs and general manager Kyle Dubas announced a roster update on Thursday. The team announced that captain John Tavares suffered a broken finger during last night's game against he Washington Capitals and will miss a minimum of two weeks. Following the two week period he will be reassessed by the team's medical staff. It's a tough blow for the team's first line as Tavares and Mitch Marner seemed to find some chemistry with Trevor Moore. More to come.
