"It's been one of the most heavily speculated stories for the last two months, the William Nylander saga. He's going to sign, he won't sign, the Leafs will trade him, the Leafs have no interest in trading him. After all the speculation, the December 1st 5pm EST deadline has come and gone. When the deadline came, Nylander decided to sign a contract for six years worth $6.9million a season.
